If the Argus is correct, the Northern Cape State of the Province Address was delivered in a Christian Revival Church. This Northern Cape Legislature media statement would seem to confirm it. The seperation of Church and State is an important part of any properly functioning democracy and, while the occassion was unfortunately overshadowed by the collapse of the Premier, one has to ask whether its appropriate for the state to conduct its business inside a Church?
